The Improving Outcomes Network
The Improving Outcomes Network is part of the Improving Outcomes campaign to promote the sharing of best practice information in order to improve the quality of case outcomes for abused and neglected children. The Improving Outcomes Network includes those individuals and groups who are interested in exchanging ideas and experiences in sharing best practice information among professionals in their states.
Benefits of Joining the Network
By joining the Improving Outcomes Network, you can participate in national discussions on how to enhance your state’s current methods for sharing best practice
information among professionals. To facilitate these discussions, Improving Outcomes has created an email networking group specifically designed to connect those interested in developing new methods for sharing best practices with those who have experience in doing so.
The Network’s National Discussions
Participants in the Network’s email group can discuss topics such as:
- Methods to tap into the expertise of top practitioners in your state and make it available to others statewide;
- Ways for colleagues or multidisciplinary groups to communicate statewide using existing, free, internet tools;
- Effective ways to share best practices online;
- Innovative ideas on making the most of your existing live training opportunities;
- What others are doing to promote collaboration between the courts and child welfare agencies;
- How to measure the effectiveness of your efforts.

To join the Improving Outcomes Network, which will also add you to the email group, just click on “Register” above. Print the registration form and email, fax, or mail it to Texas Lawyers for Children (TLC), as shown at the bottom of the form.
